Atlanta, GA – Some Georgia chiropractors are keeping a careful watch over pending legislation that could, by some accounts, smudge the definition of chiropractic medicine.

Atlanta, GA – Junior Achievement of Georgia Inc. (JAG) has returned to its 22-year-old Sandy Springs headquarters following the completion of a $2.1 million renovation project. The nonprofit agency also has reconfigured its space to accommodate Junior Achievement International (JAI) and is looking for a tenant to lease 4,500 square feet previously occupied by a day-care center.

Atlanta, GA – When the legislative session resumes Jan. 28, Georgia Bankers Association lobbyists will be back at the table with two key issues, one GBA expects to support and the other it hopes to kill.

The first, Senate Bill 70, involves a predatory lending bill pending from the last session. The GBA supports the measure, assuming its language is similar to a bill passed in the last session.

Atlanta, GA – Longtime Atlanta car dealers have plans to open two upscale auto dealerships in the north metro area. Hennessy Automotive Group, which has three dealerships in Atlanta, is building a new Jaguar dealership on the corner of Old Norcross Road and Satellite Boulevard in Duluth. The new dealership will feature a 21,000-square-foot showroom and 4.5 acres of Jaguars, said Mark Hennessy, part owner of the Hennessy company.
