Spivey Hall Continues to Highlight the Great Singers of Our Day

Theatrical Outfit presents "Its a Wonderful Life" on stage.

Atlanta, Ga – As with "Miracle on 34th Street" and "The Nutcracker" ballet, the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" has become an annual Christmas holiday tradition. Theatrical Outfit has a stage version of the story in a unique format, as a radio play. WABE's Lois Reitzes has this report, but first the cast:

You're not in Kansas anymore. Its Atlanta, the home of True Colors Theatre Company. They're doing a new production of The Wiz which opened last night at the Rialto Theatre downtown.

Harold M. Leaver plays the role of the elf.

Atlanta, Ga – Crumpet the Elf is back at Horizon Theater in Little Five Points. This is the 9th year of their production of "Santaland Diaries", a play adapted from, "Holidays on Ice," by David Sedaris. The Crumpet character is based on Sedaris' own experience as a Christmas Elf. WABE's Lois Reitzes has this report.

The Chopin Society of Atlanta presents another innovative concert at Roswell Cultural Arts Center

The Chopin Society of Atlanta presents Kevin Kenner and the Piazzoforte String Quintet in a concert of music by Chopin and Piazzolla on Sunday, October 21 at 5 pm at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. Kenner is the winner of the 1990 International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, and below he is in conversation with Bożena U. Zaremba.
