Corrina Sephora started her tutelage in metalworking before most kids are allowed to light a match. Now, she’s an acclaimed artist and dedicated teacher and mentor to the next generation of metalworkers.
Sephora has a new solo exhibition on view at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center called “On Waters of Time” and spoke to WABE’s Lois Reitzes on “City Lights” about the work, the craft of metalworking and why mentorship is important to her.
That exhibit is now on view and open through Sept. 1. Sephora gives an artist talk Thursday at 7 p.m. at Callanwolde.
