7 Stages takes its audiences into the heart of Baghdad in its upcoming production.

Set in 2003, “Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo” follows characters both dead and alive, from U.S. marines and Saddam Hussein’s son Uday Hussein to, indeed, a tiger as they navigate the war-torn streets of Baghdad.

The next two Sundays feature Broadway by way of soup.

Jenny Levison, the founder of the Souper Jenny cafes, is starring in the musical “Falsettos.” Those performances are Sept. 17 and 24 at the Atlanta History Center at 3 p.m.

Alzheimer's Music Fest Unites Caregivers

The Alzheimer's Music Fest turns 6 this year. And founder Vince Zangaro started it because Alzheimer's is a huge part of his life.

“I’ve been a caregiver for 14 years,” he said in an interview with “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes. His dad was diagnosed with the disease at age 62 when Zangaro was just 29. Since then, Zangaro has had to completely readjust his life, which up to that point had fully revolved around songwriting and touring.
